About the Event
Bala SC and it's Blaze fleet are looking forward to welcoming all Blaze travelers to Bala for the 2025 LOMO Blaze Inland Championships.
Bala Sailing Club, situated at the northeastern end of Llyn Tegid (Bala Lake), offers visiting sailors access to the largest natural lake in Wales, renowned for its picturesque setting within Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park.
The Blaze Class has visited Bala SC many times in the past and we hope for another typically good breeze for the Inlands this September.
The galley will be serving breakfasts & snacks on both days and the bar will open late on the Saturday evening, along with a BBQ meal available to all (pre-booking on the Bala SC website nearer to the event date).
Early arrivals are welcome on Friday 26th Sept. Feel free to get a cheeky practice sail in - just let them know you're coming so access can be arranged to the foreshore - captain@balasc.co.uk
One piece of advice is to organise accommodation nice and early, Bala is a busy place in the summer!
