I tried a mount on the end of the rack. Looks ok and rock solid (unlike me) :-)
Just a stick-on mount. Needs to be slightly offset from the centreline, so that the lens is in line with the middle of the boat. Also allows it to look around the forestay if it faces forward 😊
The other problem is adjusting the camera - but at least it's not at the masthead :-) https://youtu.be/HAGVI5D0H-U
