The Blaze fleet will be returning to the RCYC, the home of the largest Blaze fleet in the country, for the 2022 Eastern Championships.

About the Event
When you visit the Royal Corinthian Yacht Club you will find all three floors of this Grade 2* listed building have their own balconies with panoramic views across the River Crouch. The bar on the ground floor serves a full range of drinks and excellent, reasonably priced food – it is informal, a place to relax and make friends. It buzzes with social and sailing events at the weekends – a perfect spot for that evening drink enjoying the sunset after a day on or by the water.
The fleet will be returning to the RCYC for the 2022 Eastern Championships after an excellent attendance of 27 boats in 2021.
The race area is located just down river of the club, where the Rover Crouch widens and meets the mouth of the Roach. The crouch is a tidal estuary but fortunately for 2022 we are expecting a very weak tide, which will make racing even more enjoyable.
At the 2021 Eastern Championships lots of fun was had in the bar afterwards. The same will be certain for the 2022 event.
